Best on the day for Wexford were Craig McCabe, Ian Sinnott, Aidan Lehane, Matthew Kavanagh and Aidan Nolan. Squad: Sean Allen, Richie Farrell, Ian Sinnott, Richie Jeffers Darren Foley, Michael Cogley, Denis Murray, Chris Moore, Peadar Murphy, Blake Carr, David White, Craig McCabe, Aidan Lehane, Matthew Kavanagh, Aidan Nolan.
Wexford 0 NDSL 1
The Wexford U15 team was out of luck at Curracloe on Saturday, going down to a late goal against North Dublin Schoolboys. Wexford dominated the opening exchanges, with Stephen Tobin, Aaron Kinsella and Gary Delaney having chances, but could not turn their superiority into goals. The impressive Conor Pepper cleared a Wexford shot off the line, before Darren Clarke scored Dublin’s winner.
Dundalk 2 Wexford 0
No luck either for Wexford’s under-14s. They lost out 2-0 to Dundalk at Oriel Park.
